Exhibition Summary
The purpose of a "booster club" is to provide support to student organizations at the high school and college levels.  For ninety years, the Massillon Tiger Football Booster Club has spearheaded numerous projects to ensure the football program has everything it needs to be successful, both on and off the field.  These projects include improved facilities, financial support, and mentorships, all to spark excitement within the community.  The Booster Club is built by the community; the support provides assurance that the Massillon Tigers football program is one of the best in the country.  Without the dedication of its members—some of whom are lifelong—and the entire community, the team's history and legacy would be lost.

Among the subsets of the Booster Club is the museum committee, which established the collections that now comprise the Paul Brown Museum.  This exhibition would not be possible without the Booster Club's vision, hard work, support, and dedication to preserve the legacy of a world-renowned football program.  The Massillon Museum and Paul Brown Museum are proud to partner with this exceptional organization.

Digital Exhibition Content
Each facet of the Massillon football program was meticulously documented by the Massillon Tiger Football Museum. Junie Studer and his wife, Dolores, spent thousands of hours researching and collecting newspaper articles, letters, photographs, and other archives that are now housed in the Studer Library Binder Collection. You can also make an appointment to research all 300 binders with Bailey Yoder, the Curator of Football Heritage, in the Paul Brown Research Library in Memory of Bob Shiring.

*Both Tigerambles and Massillon vs Canton McKinley game film at Massillon Stadium are included in this video.

Tigerambles
1939
Runtime: 15 minutes
Produced by members of the 1939 Massillon Booster Club. Originally titled "A burlesque on Massillon football," the film was shown at the annual post season booster club banquet and program in 1939. It was part of the featured entertainment of the evening, and created to honor the fifth consecutive state championship team coached by Paul Brown. Thanks to former Massillon player and coach August "Augie" Morningstar, the film was saved from destruction in the early 1940s during World War II when scrap metal was needed in the war effort. The original film was silent, with sound and text added in October 1994 by long-time Tigers videographer, Ron Prunty.
